It Contains some Sample Press Release Template and Quick Press Release Generation Tool which I think any newbie should find it useful.

Though personally I don't think FREE press releases really help in backlinks. I had once published a press release by none other than JHMattern for my site Boat Dealers and I barely got any links/views. I loosely remember, Shoemoney had once said at DP that he mostly prefers for $80 press release at PRweb.
